A coelaic on the move, can be an interesting combination.
Not now it isn't.
I work for a technological company, and therefore am looking at apps all day.
I recently discovered the app Coeliac Map...something that I thought would never exist.
There is a restaurant finder to your nearest location, so if you are on the move, or in a City/Town you are unfamiliar with, then it points you in the right direction.
The map is very helpful and the list of restaurants is too, so you can tell how far you are away from a Gluten Free Friendly restaurant.
On Facebook I follow Coeliac UK who have launched a similar app. This is only currently available on IOS and not Andriod, but I hope it is released soon, so I can give it a try.
If you are visiting the UK on a vacation or business and are worried, then it is a handy app to have, although you do need GPS and data to run it, so find the nearest Starbucks and attach yourself to their WiFi.
There is also an app called Gluten Free Roads, a very similar app where you can search for restaurants, travel (hotels) and shops that cater for Coeliacs.
The only down point to this app is that it doesn't show your location around you straight away. It asks you to add a postcode or location but if you leave the box empty and press search it will direct you to the page below, where you will see how far each restaurant/hotel/shop is away from you.
