At Last, one of the many searches I have (and believe me there are many among the searches) has been completed. To find the most similar tasting biscuit to an Oreo. There are very similar ones out there, but they don't really taste of anything and crumble in your hands (or before you have even got them out of the packet)!
As I have mentioned before (plenty and plenty of times...), as a child I always had a love for biscuits, and when I couldn't have them anymore I was devastated. What am I going to do I thought??
Well I decided to cut most Gluten from my diet, as I didn't like the taste, or texture of most things, which was probably the wrong thing to do.
Things have dramatically improved now, and there are so many different products out there on the market (today I have seen fresh Gluten Free Doughnuts which can be delivered anywhere in London...who knew it was possible?).
Products are changing and developing every day, and these Oreo style biscuits from Udi's are just one example.

They are also Dairy free, so those avoiding lactose can enjoy too!
These apparently taste like Oreo's just a little bit drier (but what do you expect they are Gluten Free after all!!) according to my boyfriend who of course had to have a dip into them.
I personally liked them and had to restrain myself from eating the whole packet!
I can see these being a good seller for Udi's as children and adults alike enjoy products such as this.
Raising awareness and greater demand for products will mean the larger food stores will buy into companies such as Udi's, and subsequently more products will be available on the market.
Gluten Free products are improving so much I think I am going to have to get used to sharing 'my food'! I think my boyfriend enjoyed tasting all the things at the Allergy show more than me!
How many of you are finding your partners are slowly trying/eating your food?
Rating:
8/10 So Moreish!!
