Amy's Kitchen Hearty French Country Vegetable Soup

I am always cold. No matter where in my office I sit, I can never get warm. Especially on days like today when it is supposed to be August...and it feels like October!

I always have an array of Gluten Free Products sprawled across my desk at work, and today this Amy's Kitchen Hearty soup took centre stage.

I have to be in the right mood for soup and with the weather being so nice recently I haven't really fancied it. However over the last week I haven't been too well with a mid summer cold and so today I fancied a hearty soup which I knew would fill me up.

Healthy comfort food I like to call it.

The soup was fabulous, and I couldn't actually eat it all, I was so full. It doesn't taste like your usual canned soups which can, as stupid as it sounds, have a metallic taste to them. This one didn't. It was packed with beans and rice and whole button mushrooms. I didn't need to add any salt or pepper to it, and it is only 196 Kcals per half a tin.

Not bad for something that will keep you full until dinner time.

You have done it again Amy's. Won my heart and stomach with your soup.

Thank you!

Rating:

8/10 If only my eyes weren't too big for my belly I would still have half a tin left for tomorrow!
