9Bar – A Great Source of Energy and No More ‘Empty Calories’

I really am not a breakfast person. At a push I will eat one and a half slices of toast, but I really don’t enjoy eating first thing in the morning and I am still yet to find a yummy but filling solution.

That’s why these 9bars are great for people like me. I lack energy but don’t want to eat at 7am. They are full of natural goodness, packed with seeds and nuts, and best of all I can pop them in my bag and eat on the way to work or when I get in.

They also make great mid-day snacks or a good snack before committing yourself to a good work out at the gym. They are perfect for me to eat before I leave work and hit the gym for a class!

They really fill you up, and like they say, they aren’t empty calories. They keep you ‘fuller for longer’ and you don’t crave sugary/salty snacks.

My favourite had to either be the Fruity Bar or the Cashew and Cocoa. They actually tasted like (from what I can remember) ‘Tracker Bars’.

I also did a bit of market research too and got my mum to try a little bit of each of them, I feel a bit sorry for her sometimes as she is my guinea pig.  Her favourite was the Almond and Raspberry bar and she said she would actually buy these for her mid morning break, and they didn’t taste like they were gluten free.

If you are looking for a healthy alternative, they are also great to put in lunch boxes for kids too. Just be careful to check with the school if they are allowed products containing certain nuts, I know this can be a huge problem for many schools, especially primary schools.

Rating:

7/10 I liked them and would definitely buy them from the supermarket as an addition to my lunch or for a snack!

***These 9bars were sent to me as samples to try and test***
