I have been training in the gym for about a year and a half now and I go to the gym generally about 3 to four times a week - depending on what type of week I have had! I usually like to attend classes such as Body Pump, Pilates and Total Cardio (which is a mix of spin, with other cardio workouts) - but it all started when I was roped into running 10k in under an hour with one of my good friends for cancer research.
I have recently started to weight train as well - my fitness levels up to scratch compared with a year ago!
The next goal is to run the London Marathon next year (god help me) to raise awareness for lymphedema - a reactively unknown condition.
I have started to train with my boyfriend (who attends a body builder's gym - so you can imagine the type of work out endured) and need a quick healthy fix to stop the post gym shakes!
This little bar was strategically placed on the counter at the reception of the gym, I couldn't resist.
Bar the marketing ploy, they were actually really tasty, although they retail at £1.50 a bar.
All of the bars are grain free - so they are naturally gluten free - great for me!
at 199 kcals a bar, you can't help but grab one after or before a work out. I'd even eat these as a low fat snack in general.
I am really loving the new additions to the BAR WORLD these days!
ReplyDeleteSo am I! I have only just discovered these but they are so yummy!
