Borough 22 Gluten Free Doughnuts

It was a momentous day on Friday 12th June. 

I left my job that I had put blood, sweat and tears into over the last year and a half...and I finally got to try a Gluten Free Doughnut after 9 years. 

Sorry ... you can't believe your eyes...

YES I did say Gluten Free Doughnuts! 

I couldn't contain my excitement all day ... everyone in the office had to try one - although it didn't take much persuading (as you can tell from the picture below...they look BEAUTIFUL!)

Not surprisingly people LOVED them and said 'I actually prefer these to Krispy Kremes' .... well that's a compliment if I have ever heard one! I am not sure if this is because most of them are of the opinion that because they are Gluten Free 'they are better for you' or because they actually preferred the non fatty texture that makes you feel like your arteries are already clogging up as soon as you take a bite. 

I would like to say a special thank you to Ryan who created these beautiful doughnuts...I have to say the salted caramel was my favourite and you even impressed the fussiest of eaters in the office.

I think my holiday diet is going to go out the window if I keep looking at delicious pictures of these perfect Gluten Free Doughnuts..

They aren't just Gluten Free though...they are Dairy Free, Egg Free, Soya Free, Vegan and suitable for Coeliacs (phew that was a mouthful!)
