Amy's Kitchen Mac and Cheese

It was lovely to meet the guys at Amy's Kitchen at the Allergy and Free From Show! We had a great conversation and sneaky try of new products as well as their existing products. 

I have been speaking with the lovely PR girls at Amy's Kitchen, and they kindly sent me some vouchers to purchase some frozen goodies. Unfortunately my local Sainsbury's only sell the Macaroni and Cheese. 

I say Unfortunately...it is not unfortunate at all really. It is the best Mac and Cheese I have tasted (apart from my Boyfriend's mums!!).

Cheesy pasta is the greatest indulgence for me personally, but I just couldn't resist! 

I tried the Mac and Cheese for my lunch one day last week, which...on a typical English summer day (yes pouring with rain and freezing cold) was a welcomed lunch time treat! 

Even though the portion initially seems quite small, actually it is rather filling. I usually have quite a large lunch, especially if I am exercising in the evening. This, I only had to top up with some fruit and nuts in the afternoon before my evening run. 

They are frozen, so you do need to keep them in the freezer, but they are ready in about 6 minutes (in the microwave), which isn't too bad, especially as it is straight from the freezer. 

The taste is really great, and if I am honest I would have eaten a second portion if I could manage it! 

It was just what I needed to pick me up half way through a grueling day at work. 

Verdict: Thumbs up to Amy's Kitchen! I look forward to trying the Burrito and Cheese Broccoli bake and possibly a soup!
